On June 23rd-26th in Kiev the First All-Ukrainian Congress “Medical and Biological Informatics and Cybernetics" was held. Soft-Rating Consult Ltd took part in it as a participant and speaker.
Report by Commercial Director Olga Belyachenko concerned the use of SAP software solution and international experience in health care facilities of Ukraine.
During the report at the plenary session and the next day in the section "Medical Information Systems. Medical e-passport. Implementation of medical informatics and medical cybernetics methods in health care" participants were given brief information about the challenges in the health care sector of Ukraine and instrumental methods of their solution, which are providef by solution SAP for Healthcare for medical staff and leadership of medicalprophylactic institutions.
On the one hand, special attention of the audience was paid on question about effectiveness of planning, distribution and control of scarce resources that society provides to health care system at local level.
Worth noting that the solution SAP for Healthcare is successful in countries that use different models of health care providing and financing (insurance, mutual fund, direct funding from the state budget, pension funds, etc.).
On the other hand, all efforts medicalprophylactic institutions eventually come to the main task - to help patients get well or to preserve quality of life and lengthen its duration. In February the project team of Banknote Paper Mill of the National Bank of Ukraine in the training center of Soft-Rating Consult completed training to prepare for the implementation of a complex management system based on SAP technology, which is used in the National Bank of Ukraine and in theMint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
During a month students were getting knowledge of such topics as "Business processes in project management. Short description of completed projects in 2009 with the participation of "Soft-Rating Consult"

In July 2009 in the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) an Information System of Investment Management based on SAP solutions was completed. The project was executed by Soft-Rating Consult together with EPAM Systems.
The System is based on SAP functionalities (PS, MM, FI, CO, FI-AA, PSM-FM, DMS, BW, BW-BPS). In addition, we conducted the integration of the System with estimate complex "ST Smeta" - the first such project, implemented in Ukraine.
Implementation of the project allowed to provide the necessary transparency of data concerning formation and implementation of investment programs and projects, to reduce laboriousnessof processes of preparation, approval and implementation of investment programs. Opportunities for analysis of individual components of investment projects expanded.
Integrated Information System (IIS)- in Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine based on SAP ERP was successfully comissioned in 2009.
The project was carried out with one year consultancy support by Soft-Rating Consult, its first stage comissioned since January 1, 2009, and the second stage is under pilot operation since January 1, 2010.
Features of the project are detailed production planning and ensure continuity of the production program, quality control for production of banknotes and custodial type of the enterprise.
July 1, 2009 first in Georgia commissionedthe localized Information System SAP ERP in the Georgian holding company Tegeta Motors.
Results of the SAP project, performed by Soft-Rating Consult for Tegeta Motors laid the foundation for all commercial deployments of SAP-systems in Georgia.
In addition, following the best examples of world business practice, Tegeta Motors made a reengineering of existing business processes. All changes connected with the necessityto consider features of theexisting national legislation, were concentrated in a special suite of solutions for Georgia.
Russian publishing house Independent Media Sanoma Magazines (IMSM) - a subsidiary Sanoma Magazines, which includes more than 50 publications and projects, in particular such issues as the newspaper "Vedomosti" and the magazine Cosmopolitan, is one of the largest publishing houses in Russia, its combined reading audience is more than 10 million and market share among the "glossy magazines" is over 20%.
In 2009, IMSM with SAP CIS and Soft-Rating Consult successfully implemented industry solution SAP for Media within the implementation of SAP ERP and began comissioning.
The main complication of the project was the diversity of problems solved in industry solution SAP for Media.
In 2009 in Ukraine the project "University Alliance” was raisedto a new stage of development, Donetsk University of Government Management and the Ukrainian Scientific Center of Information Technologies Development (UkrSC ITD)became members of the project.
Several universities are preparing to enter the program.
Support to new participants of the project was provided by SAP partner - Soft-Rating Consult and SAP Academic competence center in Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University.

Soft-Rating Consult – first in Georgia implementation of commercial project SAP ERP in Tegeta Motors Holding
Ukrainian company Soft-Rating Consult acted as a partner and consultant of the Georgian Holding Company “Tegeta Motors” in the first project of implementation SAP ERP for commercial company in Georgia. October 6, 2009 there in Radisson SAS Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi was a presentation dedicated to putting the SAP system into operation in the Tegeta Motors Holding. More than 200 representatives of business circles and mass media of Georgia took part in it.
Opening the presentation of the project, General Director of George Mshvildadze said that the necessity to implement SAP ERP in Tegeta Motors was conditioned by the strategic direction of the company to win and hold leading market positions in Georgia. «Intensive development of the company, increase and restructuring of information flows required to manage the company effectively under new conditions. To implement our plans, we chose automation of business processes, - said George Mshvildadze. - Ukrainian company Soft-Rating Consult helped us to solve this challenge. During the project we became sure of our choice: its specialists are highly qualified, reliable and responsible partners."

The SAP CIS and Soft-Rating Consult Company declare the transition to implementation phase of SAP ERP and SAP IS for Media in the largest Russian publishing house Independent Media Sanoma Magazines.
The SAP CIS and Soft-Rating Consult Company have completed business blueprinting and have started the implementation phase of SAP ERP and SAP IS for Media in the Russian publishing house Independent Media Sanoma Magazines (IMSM).
Independent Media is a subsidary company of Sanoma Magazines which portfolio has more than 50 publications and projects, including the newspaper "Vedomosti" and the magazine “Cosmopolitan”. Independent Media is one of the largest publishing houses in Russia, whose cumulative reader's audience exceeds 10 million persons, and the share in the market among «glossy magazines» exceeds 20%.
Soft-Rating Consult Company has been involved by the SAP CIS for teamwork on implementation of branch solution for mass-media within the SAP ERP project implementation.
Importance of SAP IS Media implementation in Independent Media has been caused because of partial automation of business processes of sale of advertising spaces and distribution of circulations managment in the publishing house was carried out in the local systems which could not coping with data amount which have increased during the last years. These facts were complicating the integration of business processes specific to publishing business into the common information system of the publishing company.
Independent Media (IM) after consideration of several variants of propositions has made a choice in favour of purchasing of the program complex of SAP solutions - the world supplier of solutions for business management. As executors of the implementation project have been selected the SAP CIS and Soft-Rating Consult Company, that has experience of implementation of SAP solutions for the companies of media branch.

Soft-Rating Consult Company, Ukrainian Scientific Center for Development of Information Technologies (UkrSC DIT), the SAP CIS and SAP Academic Competence Center in St.-Petersburg State Polytechnic University have started the program “SAP University Alliance” in Ukraine. Organizers of the Alliance had a meeting with direction of National Aviation University on June, 9th, 2009. During preparation of documents the meeting with a direction of Donetsk State University of Management also has taken place.
During the meeting with the Ukrainian side, Victor Taratuhin - the head of partnership programs with higher educational institutions and the research and development organisations in the CIS of SAP company - has told that becoming members of the University Alliance, the Ukrainian high schools will get access to the latest SAP developments on business processes automation. Victor Taratuhin also said: «Program “SAP University Alliance” helps higher educational institutions to give all over the world knowledge to the students for operation with the advanced SAP solutions. In Russia 40 institutes of higher education have already joined this program. In Ukraine only one institute of higher education acquaints students with SAP software products. The Deputy minister of science and education has told about the perspectives of a development of education and scientific researches in sphere of information technology in the institutes of higher educationof Ukraine and has given the commission toValery Polischukto fullfil the coordination of activities in theMinistry of Education and Science of Ukraine about the organisation of «University Alliance».
As a result of negotiations the number of documents has been signed. So, at National Aviation University is already appointed the responsible head who will be responsible for the organisation of activities under this program; its beginning is planned for October. And since June, 22 in Donetsk National Technical University the implementation of the reached arrangements will start.
Participants of the program «University alliance» can prepare modern administrative personnel on the basis of the best world practices of the automated company management.
