Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine

 The Soft-Rating Consult (Service Partner SAP) has successfully finished the project of implementation of the module mySAP HCM in Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine. The technology mySAP HCM provides information uninterrupted support of Human resource management system of all Ukrainian shopping centres of the company.

Complex character of SAP solutions provides the decision of problems of personnel services within the frame of only one problem - optimization of all control process. SAP Decision "Human resource Management" has allowed to classify business processes by the personnel, having built them in the harmonious scheme. The module is controls the work, informs on possible conflict situations, forces to make the standardized decisions.

Work occurs not only within the limits of the legislation, but also by strictly specified corporate rules, providing the uniform approach in decision-making. The preparatory stage of the project which has been carried out by the company in October-November, 2004, included the all-round analysis, development of project requirements, the formation of contract on project realization.

The following functionality of module HR of SAP R/3 system has been introduced as a result of implementation of the project:
•  РА “Personnel administration”
•  ТМ “Time management”
•  PD-OM “Organizational management”.

Also the interface with external system of payroll job 1С has been developed.

The project has started in November, 2004. In the same month the conceptual project has been developed. In December functionality “Organizational management” and “Administration of the personnel” has been introduced. In the beginning of January adjustment of integration of functionality of “Organizational management” with “Administration of the personnel” and the module Controlling has been lead.

Also in December there has been begun introduction of functionality “Management of time data” then in April, 2005 has begun final integration testing and loading of data in productive system. Also in parallel there was a development cycle of interfaces and reports.

The interface with external system of payroll job 1С has been realized. Start of SAP HR took place in May, 2005 in productive operation, and within the next months a conclusion of system to "scheduled capacity " and support of functionality HR during one month after productive start has been realized. Feature of the project is its high complexity and labour intensity which demands strict following to standards of SAP implementation and knowledge of features of the national labour legislation.

Experience of this project by top management of Metro Cash and Carry is consideredas exemplaryand the approachfor the decision of salary accounting with use of the interface is recommended for application in new projects in the countries with quickly changing national legislation,where the local module of salary accounting SAP HR is not developed for it.
